黄庭坚的咏梅诗主要描写梅花的傲雪凌霜、馥郁幽香、凄惨飘零等内容,赞美了梅花凌霜斗雪、不畏严寒的高尚品质,借以抒发诗人自身清高耿介的气节。诗人和梅花一样,即便有着高尚的品质也不免凄惨凋零。

The theme of Huang tingjian＇s poems aims to describe the proud, fragrance and desperation of plums. Through his poems, he speaks highly of the qualities of plums, which include their fearlessness to face snow as well as their grim courage to defeat coldness. He pl.ans to express his own aloofness from material pursuits. But as the fate of plums, the poet who has sacred quality is predestined to be tragic.
