The connotation of creative industry is to turn the abstract concept of culture directly into product forms with highly economic value added. The creative industry of Wuhan has shown good development mo- mentum,but there are still some gaps comparing with other cities. This article makes a SWOT analysis of creative industry in Wuhan City,in order to understand the opportunities and challenges Wuhan creative in- dustry faces,so as to construct and adjust the development pattern of cultural industries in the strategic and tactical levels. And it also need actively study the connection of the culture and economy, the fusion of the culture and science technology,the joint of the culture and the market,and promote Wuhan creative indus- tries grow quickly,so as to promote the stable growth of economy and the rapid development of Wuhan,and make Wuhan City become a charm,vitality,strength,well--being city.
