交际空间与话语选择——流动人口在务工流入地语言实态调查

Communication Space and Lexical Choice—The Survey on Language Option of Floating Population in Employment Host Cities

本文运用社会语言学的调查统计及定量分析方法,对流动人口在务工流入地的语言选择与使用状况进行了分析研究。在当今人口流动态势下,社会用语环境呈现出双语或多语的基本面貌,普通话已成为对外交际的重要选择并对方言言语集团构成一定程度的影响,流入地的流向变化不会影响对普通话的选择和使用,家乡方言被局限于特定的交际空间与人群,学说当地方言的人数比率不断增长,流动人口素质结构的改变使语言呈现出多样性选择等典型特征。

With survey and quantitative analysis, this paper analyzes language option and its usage among floating population from the perspective of sociolinguistics. Following the trend of population flow, the social environment of language use presents itself to be bilingual or muhilingual, putonghua, the most widely used language in communication, has impact on the dialect - speaking groups. The changes of the flow direction do not affect the usage of putonghua and dialects are thus constrained to certain groups, where the number of dialect learners is on the rise. The change in the quality of floating population leads to such typical linguistic features as diversified choices.
