Health technology refers to the special knowledge used in health care and medical services and health technology assessment is to assess the efficacy, safety, economics and social consequences of health technology. Under the coordination of relevant international agencies, some technology assessment centers have assessed in vitro fertilization, bone density measurement, medical equipment and so on, resulting in information and suggestions conducive to decision making. The information obtained has also been widely used in the current health reform and health technology management.
