拼音壮文改革与新方块壮字刍议

Opinions on Reform of the Zhuang Language in Phonetic Alphabets and the New Zhuang Block Characters

由于拼音壮文对壮族的社会特点和壮语方言土语多、差别大、不可能形成统一的标准语音以及向汉语靠拢等特性重视不够,在一定程度上与壮族文化特点和文字传统习惯不相吻合,因而虽经40多年的推广但效果不够理想。因此,应对其进行改革,建议创制一种新的方块壮文。

The form of Zhuang language spelled in phonetic alphabets did not take into enough consideration of social characteristics of the Zhuang ethnic group nor the variety of their local dialects with distinctive differences which made it very difficult to form a unified and standard phonetic system like Chinese, and to a certain degree, it failed to match up with cultural characteristics and traditional word customs of the Zhuang ethnic group, though it has been promoted for over 40 years, the result is still unsatisfactory. Therefore, reform should be carried out to create a new form of Zhuang block characters.
