2008年初寒潮低温对广西甘蔗生产的影响

The Influence of Cold Wave in 2008 to Sugarcane Production in Guangxi

2008年初,长时间的寒潮低温冻雨天气给广西甘蔗造成了严重灾害,甘蔗的根、茎、叶、顶芽及侧芽等均遭受不同程度的寒(冻)害,不但含糖量下降,而且严重影响了蔗种的质量。对宿根蔗而言,蔗茎基部节间出现水渍状坏死,甚至黄褐变,有酒臭异味,根系受损,高位芽几乎丧失生机,只能抽发低位芽,出苗迟而不齐,苗数不足,植株生长缓慢,产量下降。利用轻度、中度受害蔗茎做蔗种新植,则其自我修复能力强,能较快萌发新芽,生长发育正常,单产与往年基本持平。造成广西2008年甘蔗总产下降的主要原因是宿根蔗减产。

In the beginning of 2008,the cold wave lasting for a long time caused serious damage to the sugarcane production in Guangxi. The root,stem,leaves and terminal buds suffered different degree of cold injury,so the sugar content decreased and the quality of seed cane was influenced seriously. To stubble cane,water damage and yellow-brown variation emerged between basal internodes with liquor smell. The root was hurt that phanerophytes nearly lost vitality and could only shoot forth low buds. The production decreased because sprouts grew slowly. Slightly and moderately injured cane stems are used as the seed canes and newly planted,they have high self renewal capability,shoot forth soon and grow normally,yield per unit is the same as former years. The reduction production of stubble canes was the main reason to the drop of Guangxi sugarcane total output in 2008.
