In Confucius ethic system,credibility is one of the most important categories.The ＂credibility＂ of the Analects has an indispensable function on promoting the development of politics,economy,and interpersonal relationship in the feudal society.Digesting its connotation and characteristics earnestly,inheriting the spirit of ＂credibility＂ critically have important theoretical and practical significance to the aspects such as the consolida-tion and development of Chinese socialist status,the healthy and well-ordered running of socialist market eco-nomic system,the stable society and harmonious interpersonal relationship.
