The History of the Early Editions of A Collection of Hanshanzi Poems

《寒山子诗集》宋元刊本中土存世寥寥,所幸刊行不久即流传到朝鲜半岛和日本,并得到不断翻刻,在这些当地刻本中保留了弥足珍贵的宋元刊本信息。借助这些信息,我们不仅可以了解宋元刊本的面貌,还可尝试勾勒早期刊本之间的关系,并在既有研究的基础上,补充完善有关《寒山子诗集》版本源流的梳理,以求使之更为清晰。

Very few editions of A Collection of Hanshanzi Poems printed in the Song and Yuan Dynasties are left in China today. But fortunately, some editions of the poetic collection were circulated in the Korean Peninsula and Japan soon after it had been published and were printed there time and again. All of these local printed copies preserved the very important information of its editions of the Song and Yuan Dynasties. With the help of these editions, we are not only able to understand the real features of its editions of the Song and Yuan Dynasties, but also able to describe the relationship among its early editions. And on the basis of the research previously done, we can make a further study of the history of the various editions of this poetic collection.
