The research progress of the preparation techniques of SO4^2-/ZrO2catalysts is summarized, the progress of the researches on SO4^2-/ZrO2 catalysts modification and characterization methods are introduced, the catalytic action of SO4^2-/ZrO2 catalysts on the isomerization of paraffins is summarized, and the research and development prospect of SO4^2-/ZrO2 catalysts is described in this paper.
