教育是中国实现伟大复兴的关键,而初中正是学生思想观念形成的重要时期,因此要对初中生进行正确的政治方面的指导,培养学生良好的思想品德和对社会主义思想的理解。九年义务教育的思想品德的标准中也对学生的思想品德进行了明确的规定:培养良好的心理品质,高尚道德情操,正确的思想,并将心理教育作为德育教学的重要内容。积极开展政治课程对提高学生的思想政治方面的觉悟有很重要的作用。
