陈应松以其"荆楚"尤其是"神农架系列"小说的独特的语言个性,正在逐步形成自己的艺术风格,且语言个性愈来愈鲜明。小说较多地使用方言俚语和"四字句"。动词的应用是写作者"匠心独运"的结果。诗化语言、诗意盎然的文本意境、散文笔法、排比句式、快节奏的叙事技巧等都构成了小说不可忽视的个性特点。

Chen Yingsong＇ s novels are of unique Shenguong Jia＂ featuring their special individuality linguistic traits, as is evident in ＂the novel series on , their unique artistic style and their increasingly individual lan- guage, because in the novels can be found an enormous use of dialects, slang words and ＂four-character sen- tences＂ as well as the use of the verb--the result of the writer＇ s exercise of his inventive mind. In short, the poetic language, the textual mood with the poetic quality, the prose style, the sentence pattern of parallelism, and the fast-paced narrative skill, etc. have constituted the assignable features of individuality in Chen＇ s novels.
