西夏在西北地区的统治与中国历史统一趋势的关系

The Relationship Between the Rule of Xixia in the Northwest Region and the Uniform Trend in Chinese History

自党项酋长拓跋思恭被唐朝任命为权知夏绥银节度使至被蒙古灭亡,西夏(含夏州政权时期)在西北地区维持了三个半世纪的局部统一局面,不仅实现了党项族的巨大进步,而且在推动西北经济文化的发展中作出了卓越的贡献。西夏统治下西北社会历史的发展是自唐朝末年以来中国历史上不断增长的统一趋势的一部分。

Xixia has maintained a local uniform situation in northwest district about three and a half centuries（including the regime of Xiazhou） since ToubaSigong was appointed as Supreme Executive of Xia.Sui and Yinzhou by Tang Dynasty.It not only achieved tremendous progress in Tangut but also promoted economic and culture development in the northwest.Under the rule of Xixia,the development of northwest society became a part of the unity of the growing trend of Chinese history that began at the last years of Tang Dynasty.
