摘要
文艺复兴是14世纪中期到16世纪末响遍欧洲的一场资产阶级思想文化运动。在核心思想"人文主义"精神的指导下,文艺复兴首先在文化艺术领域展开,因此在那一时期涌现出大批的文人和艺术家。英国,作为老牌的资本主义强国,无可避免的是文艺复兴运动的重镇。翻译为英国的文艺复兴带去了人文主义的心智气候,是英国文艺复兴的先导。文章试图从翻译目的论的视角出发,对英国在这一时期《圣经》的英译及部分文学翻译家及其作品进行分析,通过研究其交际目的,讨论这一时期作品的翻译策略及风格。
The Renaissance,mainly happened from mid 14th century to the late 16th century,was a cultural movement spread all over the Europe under the requests of the bourgeoisie.With the humanism as its core guidance,the Renaissance firstly started from the literary and art circles,within which there appeared a group of writers,translators and artists.As an old and strong capitalistic country,Britain inevitably became a base for the Renaissance.Translation which brought humanistic spirit to the Renaissance in Britain became the forerunner for the movement.This thesis tries to analyze the English translation of The Bible and some famous translators as well as their works during this period from the perspective of Skopostheory and through the study of their communicative purposes to discuss the translation styles and approaches during the Renaissance.
