Report on Migrant Population Development in China 2012 ("Report"for short) released recently by National Population and Family Planning Commission points out that currently China's urban population account for more than 50% and the scale of migrant population has reached a record high. In 2011, the total amount of migrant population in China reached nearly 230 million, accounting for 17% of the country's total population. Movement quantity, flowing direction, structure and interest demands of the migrant population are all undergoing profound changes.
