Based on the main content of two strands of separatist forces, namely Xue Ju and Li Gui in Hexi - Longyou at the end of Sui Dynasty, this paper expounds the rise background of the two strands of separatist forces and the process that Tang Dynasty pacified them. It ends with the reason for the analysis of the two powers＇destruction in order to give readers a comprehensive understanding about this phase of history.
