新时期初,中国文学批评界关于西方现代主义的论争,其焦点是如何认识西方的现代主义,中国是否能够发展西方的现代主义以及怎样评价中国式现代主义写作。即关于西方现代主义的论争实际上演化为关于中国文学道路的探讨。从变异学视域来审视这场论争,我们将能更好地理解西方现代主义在中国语境下是如何发生变异与融合、进而参与到中国当代文学品格建构中的。

In the early new era, there are many debates among the Chinese literary critics. The focus is how to understand the Western modernism, whether China can develop the Western modernism and how to evaluate modernism writings of Chinese style. That is to say, the debate on the Western modernism actually becomes the discussions on Chinese literature roads. If we examine the debate from the perspective of variationology, well be able to have a better understanding of how the Western modernism alters and integrates in the context of China, and then participate in the construction of the Chinese contemporary literature.
