With model analysis,formula derivation and examples comparison as research tools,the article illustrates the cause & property regulation of swing,and demonstrates the similarities and differences between pure radical swing and radical swing,as well as the relationship between pure radical swing and maximal radical swing,and further explicates the differences between rough calculation and accurate calculation of bearing clearance,as well as their respective applicable conditions,which provides certain reference for the allocation of clearance between bearings of hydroelectric generating units.
