Linear algebra is an important foundation course for institutions and colleges. In this paper, it is elaborated from the four aspects, including syllabus amendment, reconstruction of teaching material, exploration of teaching methods, and quality of teachers, to explain how to carry out the reform of linear algebra through teaching practice in independent colleges for practical tertiary education.
