再造“妇女”与当代社会——从《中国女性主义思想史中的妇女问题》谈起

Reshaping "Women" and Contemporary Society in China

当代社会,女性主义的状况呈现出了新的变化,其中非常重要的一个变化发生在性别平等方面,即分析该问题时不仅要着眼于男女之间,还要把它放在女性内部来看,同时要考虑到其与阶级或阶层的关系。如何回应以此为代表的一类新问题,应该借鉴社会主义的历史资源,而在它所留给我们的遗产中,对女性主义而言,有一点是很关键的,亦即对"妇女"一词的创造性使用及把其投入到同时代社会中的实践。那么,可以说,在今天的语境里,如何再造"妇女",一定程度上关系到能否有力回应或解决上述新问题。而《中国女性主义思想史中的妇女问题》一书所带给我们的启发,恰恰能够让我们思考在当代社会再造"妇女"的必要性、可能性和有效路径。

In contemporary Chinese society, new changes have immerged in feminism, in which a very impor- tant change lies in the gender equality in present context. One argument is that we should not only focus on the e- quality between men and women, hut also pay attention to the difference among women. The issue of class or class relationship should be taken into account. In order to answer this question, we should draw lessons from the histori- cal resources of socialism and use the concept of ＇woman＇ creatively. In this paper, I will discuss these issues ac- cording to some points from Tani E. Barlow＇s book The Question of Women in Chinese Feminism. Then I will discuss the necessity, possibility and availability for reshaping ＇women＇ in contemporary society in China.
