Does Power Lead to Cheating?

实验研究了无意识权力感与欺骗行为的关系。在实验中,通过词语搜索任务的方式启动被试的高、低权力感,接着采用数字矩阵测试的方法测量被试的欺骗行为,探讨权力与欺骗行为的关系。结果发现:启动高权力的个体比启动低权力的个体在自我报告数字矩阵测试成绩时更多地虚报了成绩,这一结果说明权力会增加个体的欺骗行为。文章最后对权力导致欺骗行为增加的原因作了讨论。

The study aims to explore the relationship between power and cheating behavior. In experiment, participants were first primed with high or low power by word-searching task, and then used digital matrix test to measure the cheating behaviors of participants, the results showed that participants primed with high power showed more cheating behaviors than participants primed with low power, the results demonstrated that power could increase individual＇s cheating behaviors. The study discussed the reasons of power leads to more cheating behaviors at last.
