This article introduces various mediums in utility station(US) in petrochemical plant including nitrogen,plant air,plant water,steam,etc.,and briefly introduces the function of each medium.Also the requirements of US location are described Generally each US should cover an area of 15m radius,based on which the location and quantity of US is determined to serve the whole plant.Piping layout principles of US and valve setting requirements are explained in detail,and typical drawings are given for each type of US.
