国际人权法上的宗教或信仰自由及其在中国的实践

Freedom of Religion or Belief in International Law and the Reality of Religious Freedom in China

宗教作为这个世界包罗万象的总的理论和信仰,在给世人带来和平与希望的同时,也导致紧张和冲突。人类在经历了宗教不宽容、不自由乃至惨烈的战争之后,终于意识到了宗教或信仰自由的极端重要性。宗教或信仰自由也因此由少数国家宪法保障的人权发展为一项普遍的国际人权。随着中国签署甚至批准众多的国际人权法律文件,中国人民正在日益充分地享有国际法上普遍确认和保障的宗教或信仰自由权利。

Religion,containing general theories and beliefs of human being on the universe,has brought hope of peace for human society and caused tensions and conflicts as well. The human society finally realized the critical importance of religious tolerence and freedom after experiencing cruel religious intelerence and even wars. And therefore constitutional protected freedom of religion or belief finally developed into a kind of universal human right. Chinese are sure to enjoy more and more freedom of religion or belief since the authority of China has signed or even ratified most of universalhuman right instruments.
