辽宁省蝗虫一新属新种(直翅目:斑腿蝗科)

A New Genus and Species of Grasshopper from Liaoning Province (Orthoptera: Catantopidae)

记录采自辽宁省千山地区蝗虫一新属及一新种,定名为千山辽秃蝗Liaopodisma qinshanensis zheng, gen. ef sp.nov.,该新属近似于印秃蝗属Indopodisma Dov.-Zap.和蹦蝗属Sinopodisma Chang,其区别于两者的特点为:复眼的垂直直径为眼下沟长的2.25倍;前胸背板沟前区长度大于沟后区长的1.3～1.37倍;雌性下生殖板后缘两侧凹陷,中央突出,顶三角形。

A new genus and a new species of Catantopidae is reported. The type spe- cimens are deposited in the Department of Biology, Shaanxi Normal University. Liaopodisma, new genus Size medium to small. Head shorter than pronotum. The fastigium of vertex wide and short, sloping forward; the maximum width of fas tigium before eyes larger than the width of frontal ridge between antennae about 2-2.5 times; the width of interocular distance as long as the width of frontal ridge between antennae or larger than latter about 1.3 times. Eyes oval, the vertical diameter about 1.3-1.5 times as long as horizontal diameter, and about 2.25 times as long as suboeular suture. Pronotum cylindrical, median keel low, distinct in metazona, lateral keels absent; the length of prozona about 1.3-1.37 times the length of metazona; posterior margin rounded, with a very weak, wide shallow concave in the middle. Prosternal spine conical. Metasternal lobes of male contiguous posteriorly and in femaleseparated. Elytra lobe-like, lateral, the tip of elytra rounded, covering the tympanum. The upper keels of hind femora smooth, the tip of knee-lobes rounded. Hind tibia without outer apical. spine. Tympanum well developed. The last abdominal tergit of male with small furcula. Supra analplate triangular. Cereus lateral flat, top round. Subgenital plate conical, with the top elongated. The subgenital plate of female, with concave on each side of the posterior margin, and prominence in the middle, top triangular. Type species: LiaoPodisma qinshanensis Zheng, sp. nov. The new genus is allied to IndoPodisrna Dov. -Zap. and Sinopodisma Chang, but differs from both in the vertical diameter of eyes about 2.25 times as long as subocular suture; the length of prozona of pronotum about 1.3-1.37 times the length of metazona; the shape of posterior margin of subgenital plate in female is much peculiar. Liaopodisma qinshanensis nov.sp. (figs.) Length of body:♂16, ♀26～27mm. Length of pronotum: ♂4, ♀5.5～6mm Length of elytra: ♂3, ♀4-5mm. Length of hind femur: ♂7, ♀12～12.5mm.
