This paper introduced in detail the application of drop shaft sinking in silty-fine sand water foundation pit sump excavation, including the construction procedures, technical requirements, relevant parameters calculation and other aspects, provided reference for effectively solving the construction difficulties caused by big water of deep foundation pit excavation of future simar geological conditions.
