When planning exhibitions and considering how to attract audiences, modern museums need to make use of the research in educational theories on the body, the psychology and the temperaments of human beings if they are to boost their service. The new exhibition approaches and the pluralist activities that the Art Gallery of Hong Kong has been trying not only bring a brand-new viewing experience to the audiences, but also infuse an educational import into it, arousing the audiences＇ interest in the contents of the exhibitions. While provoking them into thinking, the museum also fulfils its function of art ed- ucation. Staging successfully the exhibition of Spectacular and Magnificent through these modern exhibition techniques, the Art Gallery of Hong Kong showed the modernist characteristics of Li Keran＇s art.
