社会存在与社会意识的辩证关系在马克思主义理论中占有重要地位。以阴阳学说作为视角和基本的理论框架来解读社会存在与社会意识的辩证关系,两者之间的辩证关系主要表现在:在社会存在居于主导地位的前提下,社会存在和社会意识共存于人类社会这一统一体中、两者互相依赖、对立协同、互相渗透、互相制约、互相转化、此消彼长、自和平衡。
