Verification Study for 3T3 Neutral Red Uptake Phototoxicity Test

目的验证3T3成纤维细胞中性红摄取实验检测化学物质光毒性试验方法的可行性。方法使用两种盲样对3T3成纤维细胞进行染毒,用中性红摄取法测定细胞活性。结果 1号样品预测有潜在光毒性,2号样品预测无潜在光毒性。结论 3T3成纤维细胞中性红摄取实验可用于检测化学物质的光毒性。

Objective To verify the feasibility of application of 3T3 neutral Red uptake in phototoxicity. Methods Two kinds of unknown chemical were dispensed into the culture media of Balb/c 333 cells. Then the viability of Balb/c 3T3 cells was assessed by neutral red uptake test. Results A positive result was obtained with sample 1, while a negative result was obtained with sample 2. Conclusion It is suggested that in vitro 3T3 neutral Red uptake test can be used to assess the phototoxic effects of chemical.
