在逻辑上,弗洛姆的人本主义异化思想有3个层次。一方面他把马克思的思想解读为对所有社会形态和每个人的批判;另一方面他改造了弗洛伊德的精神分析,从个体心理学走向群体心理学,来批判整个社会的不健全。最终,由心理学出发的理论使弗洛姆走向人本主义佛教的神秘主义。

Logically, there are there layers in Fromm＇s theory of humanistic alienation. On the one hand, his interpretation of Marx is a critique to all the social formations and the individuals. On the other hand, he has remolded Freud＇s psychoanalysis from individual psychology to group psychology as a critique to the unsoundness of the whole society. Consequently, a theoretical starting point from psychology has led Fromm to mysticism of humanistic Buddhism.
