Zhang Tai-lei and Peiyang University

张太雷是中国共产党创建时期的重要领导人之一。1916年1月至1920年6月在北洋大学求学期间,他系统地学习了西方法学课程,接触到大量西方的政治文化,并积极投身爱国学生运动。追求真理的政治信仰促成了他的人生观和理想发生了巨大转变,最终坚定地选择了红色信仰,走上了革命道路。

Zhang Tai-lei was one of the important leaders of the Communist Party of China in its formation period.When studying in Peiyang University from January,1916 to June,1920,he systematically studied western law courses,involved in large western political cultures,and actively participated in the patriotic student movement.All these things provided him a reference system for pursuing the truth of the political belief.As a result,the life value and ideal pursue of Zhang Tai-Lei changed enormously,which led him firmly to convert to communism and took the revolutionary road.
