With the increasing demands for lighter,safer and more environment-friendly automotive,hi-tech fibers see a promising future in automotive field.Based on some latest developments of fibers applied to auto structure,interior,acoustic material,bullet-proof material,etc.,an overall introduction of how hi-tech fibers applied to automotive was presented.The author put forward that high-performance fiber and its reinforced material will remain the preference of luxury auto,and with the fibers'price going down,intermediate auto will also be a big market.
