Multimedia technology is emerging along the development and use of computer technology. The technique has been gradually and widely used in the teaching of organic chemistry experiment. The multimedia technology can give an intuitive explanation of the experimental contents. Students can be deeply impressed anti get familiar with the experimental processes and phenomena. The use of the muhimedia software technologies shouhl be reasonably arranged and designed to meet the real purpose of teaching. This article, from perspective of using the muhimedia technology in organic chemistry experiment in higher vocational schools, explores its development situation and existing problems, so as to provide a reference for better utilization of it.
