桥本甲状腺炎（HT）作为一种自身免疫性疾病，常可导致甲状腺功能减退，进而引起多种临床表现。然而，部分HT患者甲状腺功能保持在正常范围内却仍然有许多症状和（或）体征。进一步的观察发现，HT和诸多自身免疫性疾病相关，亦可增加甲状腺癌的风险，并影响女性生殖健康。传统的甲状腺激素治疗可有效降低甲状腺自身抗体水平，一些新的治疗方法如硒制剂、类固醇激素和手术治疗也逐渐得到重视和临床尝试。

As an autoimmune endocrine disorder, Hashimoto＇s thyroiditis （HT） often leads to hypot- hyroidism with clinical signs and symptoms. Yet, many patients with euthyroid Hashimoto＇s thyroiditis still suffer from various signs and/or symptoms. Further studies demonstrated that HT was associated with a wide range of autoimmune disorders, inceased the risk of cancers and influnced the female reproductive health. Conventional prophylactic levothyroxine supplementation has the potential to decrease thyroid autoimmune antibodies. Future treatment options might include selenium, steroids administration and thyroidectomy.
