Clarifying from the background and purpose of FAR Part 25＇ s Amendment 111, this paper presents the revision content of this amendment, as well as its applicability and economic evaluation. The demonstration test of Thermal/Acoustic Insulation Materials installation used in X type Airplane has shown that the test results comply with the requirements of Amendment 111.
