The protagonists Nora in A Doll ＇ s House and Eliza in Pygmalion have quite different living background, but they possess similar experience. Both of them, having strong self-awareness, are the spokespersons who pursue self-independent, free and harmony life. From the perspective of feminism, it goes into the world of Nora and Eliza to explore the life and of the females in the situation of patriarchy. From the, modern women may have a better and right judgment of how to pay attention to their individual development and their family and social roles, by which they can develop their own independent personalities and truly achieve self-improvement and self-support and self-reliance in modern society.
