An Analysis the Problem of Speeding up the Extensive West-China Development

区域经济协调发展的客观要求，相对宽松的宏观经济环境，西部长期积累及“后发优势”预示着加快西部大开发的时机已成熟；思想观念、地区经济竞争力、经济结构、经济效益及增长方式、开放度及市场化等方面的差距是加快西部大开发的主要制约因素；解放思想、更新观念，加快基础设施建设步伐，政府大力支持，多种经济成分共同发展，走可持续发展道路是加快西部大开发应主要解决的问题。

The best opportunity of speeding up the extensive west-China development has been predicted by the objective need of coordinated growth of regional economy, a relatively free macro-economic environment and the long-term accumulated advantage of 'later development' in the west. But the restriction factors are thinking, ideology, regional economic competitiveness, economic structure, economic benefits, the way of growth rate, opening degree and marketization. So the problems to be mainly solved are how to emancipate the mind and renew the sense, how to speed up the construction of infrastructure and gain the government support, how to develop the various economic factors and follow a sustainable strategy.
