摘要
开发了一种高性能PMF(保偏光纤)的制造工艺,并制备出包层直径为80μm的细径高性能PMF。试验结果表明,该光纤具有优良的全温(-50~85℃)偏振串音性能,光纤全温偏振串音变化典型值为3.232dB,具有良好的抗弯曲性能和良好的端面研磨性。
In this letter, a new manufacturing process for high-performance Polarization Maintaining Fiber (PMF) is developed and the PMF with 80 μm cladding diameter fabricated. The experimental results show that this fiber has fine polarization crosstalk performance in the temperature range from -50 to 85 ℃, with the typical cross-talk change value of 3. 232 dB, and good bending resistance and abrasive fiber ends.
