校雠名家 洛带乡贤——历史语言学家王叔岷先生事略

A Famous Textual Critic & the Respected Man in Luodai——A Brief Introduction of Historical Linguist Wang Shumin

王叔岷先生早年师从傅斯年、汤用彤,并留在中央研究院历史语言研究所工作,1948年随史语所迁台。先生先后在台大,新加坡、马来西亚等大学教书,著述有《史记斠证》《庄子校诠》等。王叔岷先生学术成就开始引起大陆学界、文化界的关注,2007年北京中华书局计划陆续出版《王叔岷著作集》,共十九种三十册,另有回忆录《幕庐忆往》单独发行。先生1992年往返大陆旅游,2000年获台湾"行政院文化奖",2002年开始长住大陆,2008年8月仙逝于龙泉驿区其长子家中。

In his early years, Wang Shumin was taught by Fu Sinian and Tang Yongtong, and stayed in the History and Language Institute of Academia Sinica until 1948 when he moved to Taiwan together with the Institute. Mr. Wang taught in universities in Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia respectively, with his publications of Collation of the Historical Records and Collation ＆ Interpretation of Zhuang Zi and so on. With the gradual interest of the Mainland academic, cultural circles in Wang Shumin~ academic achi published in 2007 Collection of Wang Shumin Works, thirty copies o evements, f 19 kinds Zhonghua Book Company in Beijing in total, and a separate issue of his memoir. He returned home in the Mainland for tourism in 1992, was granted the cultural award by the Executive Yuan of Taiwan in 2000, started keeping a long stay in the Mainland from 2002, and died at his eldest son~ home at Longquanyi, Chengdu in August 2008.
