1972年中日两国恢复邦交正常化,并开启了中日政治交往和经贸合作的新时代,迄今已到不惑之年。这期间中日政治关系虽然经历了一波三折,但两国在经贸等方面合作总体顺畅,中日互为重要的贸易和投资伙伴,量增质升,成果显著。但近年随着中国崛起,两国在世界经济中的地位逆转,中日关系出现了以岛屿争执为标志的对立乃至对抗,两国经贸合作也出现诸多争议。如何应对国际经济困难和全球局势日益复杂过程中两国关系出现的纷繁头绪,使中日政经合作继续朝着战略互惠和互利双赢的轨道发展,已成为中日双边关系中的重要课题。
