Chinese Language History and the History of Han People

汉语是汉族人民的语言。尽管有各种方言的存在,但它完全可以用汉族人民的历史来加以解释。汉语在它的历史发展中与周边的民族语言以及异域语言不断地接触,它们深刻地影响着汉语的面貌。语言的历史与人民的历史是密切相关的,研究汉语应该结合汉族人民的历史来展开。

Chinese is the language of the Han people. Despite the variety of dialects, it can be explained from the history of the Han people. In its development, Chinese keeps in contact with na- tional languages and foreign languages which deeply influence the Chinese. The history of the lan- guage is closely related to the history of people＇ s history. Therefore, Chinese language research should be combined with the history of Han people.
