摘要
为了提高数据库备份的管理能力及资源利用率,提出了一种基于备份链的数据库备份管理模型。该模型根据备份点各自的备份方式与数据逻辑关系将备份链组织为森林结构进行管理,提高了数据备份中心对备份点的管理能力,能有效地对历史备份时间点制定相应的合并与删除策略。实验结果表明,与传统备份点管理模型相比,由于本模型摒除了数据库恢复后需要做的一次全备份,实现了更灵活的自动删除策略,从而减小了数据库恢复后所需要的备份窗口,缩短了数据库灾难恢复后的风险期,有效地提升了磁盘空间的利用率,降低了对数据备份中心的资源要求。
For the improvement of resource management on database backups, a backup-chain-based database backup manage- ment model is presented. In the model, the backups are organized into forest data structure according to their internal dependen- cies, enhancing the management ability of backup system on database backups and making the effective plans for the merging and deletion of historical backups. The experiment proves that, as the requirement of a full database backup after database recovery is eliminated and more flexible deleting policy is achieved, the backup window is shrink and the risk time period after database re- covery is reduced, the utilization ratio on disk space is considerably improved, and the system resource requirement of data backup center is effectively reduced.
