In ancient China, upright officials' "moral standard" is a kind of anti-corruption cultural heritage molded in the specific Chinese culture. It's also an important part of Chinese traditional virtues. The "moral standard" set by upright officials can mainly be found in remonstration quotations of philosophers, sagacious kings, wise prime ministers, and upright officials. The content covers a comparatively broad range and mainly includes the following four aspects, such as diligence with honesty and uprightness, self-reflection with the consciousness of shame and purity, benevolence with the attitude to treat the masses e- qually and the desire to share resources generously, and the adherence to justice. The study and inheritance of the "moral stan- dard" set by upright officials can further help public servants improve their moral accomplishment, better the executive envi- ronment, and thus promote the moral building in whole society.
