摘要
对于存在不少问题的英语专业本科毕业论文写作,学界和公众都较为关注。本研究主要以Drnyei和Ottó的二语动机过程模式为理论指导,通过开放式问卷调查,探讨英语专业本科学生在毕业论文写作中的动机问题。研究结果表明:(1)学生在论文写作前有显著的兴趣,写作过程中兴趣受到多种外在动机因素的影响,但写作后学生普遍肯定了毕业论文的积极意义;(2)写作过程中的部分动机因素之间具有相关性,克服负面动机的影响是毕业论文写作改革的重点。
The academia and the public have been much concerned with the problematic graduate thesis writing for some years. Using the process model of L2 motivation and open-ended questions, this study examines English undergraduates' motivations in graduate thesis writing. The results show that before thesis writing most undergraduates believe it significantly interesting. Although the writing process has certain effects on their interest and sense of achievement, their evaluations of thesis writing are positive in general. Some motivations during the thesis writing process are correlated, and the revealed demotivations should be weakened or removed in the future reform of graduate thesis writing.
