Scientific Culture and Cultural Science

随着科学的迅猛发展,由于思想革命和产业革命的双重催生,科学成为一种主流文化,获得无上的权威;但是,作为工业文明主导的科学文化又似乎变得越来越失去文化的内涵,产生了所谓的文化迷失与人文缺失等异化现象。本文深思这种现象,强调科学并不凌驾于其它文化传统之上而具有特殊的优越性,应当从强势文化走向平权文化,回复科学技术的文化本性。文化科学就是让科学回复文化的内涵,重新变得有文化。

Today science advances at an astonishingly high speed,and driven by the ideological and industrial revolutions,it even becomes a dominant culture in the society and is respected as the supreme authority.However,the scientific culture,which plays the leading role in the industrial civilization,turns out to be more and more alienated from culture and humanity,resulting in the so-called cultural confusions and loss of humanity.This article,investigating the phenomenon deeply,argues that science has no privileged position over the other cultural traditions,and suggests that science identify itself as a member equal with the other cultural patterns in the society in order to restore its cultural connotations.It is believed that by establishing the cultural science,we can bring culture and humanity back to science.
