With the theme of revenge,Cao Yu's The Field immerses in the wild,creepy,horrible text atmosphere,while it also reflects human nature,ethics and society.Cao Yu tries to show 'Crime and Punishment' of the avengers,which got the avengers into all sorts of paradoxes.He shows these paradoxes and digests them in a certain emptiness and absurdity.The Field is far from the so-called 'farmer's revenge' or a simple 'extremely love and hate' of human nature,even the conflict of good and evil,but the 'Crime and Punishment' of modern China.The Field explores the real survival and death of Chinese people at that time.
