中国手语中的时间空间隐喻

Time-Space Metaphors in Chinese Sign Language

中国手语中在水平方向和垂直方向上共有"上-下"、"前-后"和"左-右"三种类型的时间空间隐喻。分析表明,中国手语中的时间空间隐喻发生的理据性和动因与汉语大致相同,均符合认知语言学中提出的"体验性"观点。但也应同时看到,中国手语和汉语对某些时间空间隐喻的理解也存在差异,如前者缺乏"未来在后-过去在前"的隐喻表达,因此在对聋人进行汉语教学时,应当着重厘清两种语言的不同,以更有效的教学方式提高聋人的汉语水平。

There are three kind of horizontal and vertical time-space metaphors in Chinese sign language, including ＂up-down＂, ＂front-back＂ and ＂left-fight＂. The analysis shows that the time-space metaphors in Chinese sign language share the similar motivation with the Chinese language, and they both conform to the ＂embodinisra＂ put forward by cognitive linguistics. It must be pointed out that there are also some differences between Chinese and Chinese sign language in the understanding of time-space metaphors. For example, there is no ＂back/future, front/back＂ metaphor in Chinese sign language. Therefore, it is very important to clarify the incongruity between the two languages in order to adopt more efficient teaching methods to improve deaf people＇s Chinese learning.
