Characteristics of Healthy World

《康健世界》是1935年由李尊权等在上海创办,传播健康知识和健康理念的科普刊物。它具有以下办刊特色:栏目多样,题材丰富;科学性和趣味性并重;注重互动和反馈;以社会效益为主,兼顾经济效益。《康健世界》对提升近代民众的健康意识、推动健康生活方式和推广西医的应用都产生了影响,为中国近代的科普事业和健康传播作出了积极贡献。

Healthy World, launched by Li Zunquan in Shanghai in 1935, was a scientific periodical for the purposes of disseminating knowledge and notions about health. Healthy World has columns and contents of various kinds. Both science and fun of articles are emphasized and much attention is paid to enhance the communication with readers. While attaching more importance to the social profits, this periodical has also gained economic rewards. Healthy World has positive impacts in arousing public awareness of health and promoting healthy lifestyles and the application of both western and Chinese medicines, and thus contributes greatly to the popularization of science and health.
