Tao Xingzhi＇s thought and practice of contemporary overseas academic circles is an important re- search field. In 20th Century, in the rich achievements of Tao Xingzhi overseas research, Japanese scholars tend to the reference of education value, while American research is more academic, and European researchers main- ly based on macroscopic investigation. The reason for this should be investigated from the perspectives of histo- ry, polities, individual and group. In 21th Century, Tao Xingzhi overseas studies show the trend of concerning subject＇ s thought, in the context of different construction model and theoretical explanation of diversification, and reflect generative thinking research trends. Discussion on Tao Xingzhi＇s overseas academic research helps to explore the future of the study of China theory vision and thinking path.
