The Poem Theory of Canglang, which is written by Yanyu, based on ＂expressing emotions＂, emphasizes the combination of the emotion and the reason and forms the emotional and reasonable view on the basis of ＂interest＂. It criticizes the adverse atmosphere of the poetic creation in Song dynasty and shows distinct criticism as well as profound reality. At the same time, Yanyu＇s originality builds a distinctive theory system, which has a great impact on the later poetry.
