The ways and methods of quality control were described from the aspects of process and result influencing the quality control in coal testing labs. It was indicated that the testing process control could be carried out in various ways of personnel, instruments, facilities and environment, testing method selection, while the testing result control could be carried out in all respects of proficiency testing, reference material, quality control plan, statistical techniques, evaluation of uncertainty in measurement and digital laboratory system.
