An introduction and recommendation focus on American national standard ANSI/API 755-2010 The System of Fatigue Risk Management for Oil Refining and Petrochemical Staffs. Through the contrastive analysis of the differences between the domestic and international standards about fatigue risk management regulation of oil and gas pipeline operational workers, it is suggested to adopt the standard ANSI/API 755-2010 and increase the contents of shift, holidays by turns and health training in domestic corre- sponding standards. This has some important reference value for fatigue risk management of operational staffs in our oil-gas pipeline industry
